PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

With the great success of our 2025 Mt Perry Show in mind, our plans to host the 79th annual show in 2026 were well underway with a full schedule of working dogs, campdraft events, prime and stud cattle, horse competitions, woodchopping, and pavilion categories, plus sideshow alley, all-day entertainment, and fireworks to keep the whole family entertained. 

Unfortunately, steep increases in operational costs are putting pressure on the financial viability of the Show Society, as well as the participation of competitors and visitors who make our event a success.

We have therefore made the difficult decision to postpone the Evolution Mining Mt Perry Show 2026.

We are committed to ensuring the Mt Perry Show may return in 2027, as well as any additional opportunities to celebrate our local community at our beautiful Showgrounds, and we look forward to sharing more details in due course.
